WHAT KIDS SAY

Some of my favorite things about Shine School are that we all get along and we help each other with schoolwork. I like how we read the Bible every morning, and the school days are short but we still learn a lot. I feel peaceful at school. I like the environment to do schoolwork, and everyone is nice, especially the teachers, Ms. Renee and Ms. Margaret.

My teachers are so heartwarming and kind. They always cheer me on.
My favorite thing about Shine School is Bible time. It is a great way to start your day. It also helps me get closer and more connected to God.

I love Shine School because of the teachers and the people there. The teachers are helpful, kind, loving and taught me almost everything I know today. My friends are really fun because we play outside and talk to each other. I also like how we get out of school early at 1 PM. I love Shine School.
Ms. Renee creates a curriculum that fits what you need and she is so loving and cares for you like family.

…the amazing Ms. Renee and Ms. Margaret made it such a joy to learn… They pushed me to be the best I could ever be and always helped me succeed… I can’t be more thankful for all this school has done for me. I am so proud of myself because I personally grew a lot in only two years.

My favorite part about Shine School is how different it is. It’s not like public school because you get more creative freedom.
I am very fond of how much reading we do. I was never really good at reading, but I was pushed to continue to read and now it’s one of my favorite subjects.

When I left public school I felt kind of defeated (in math, especially) and these two years with Ms. Renee and Ms. Margaret have really helped me feel more confident about everything. Ms. Renee is wonderful. She is kind, sweet and an overall great teacher. Ms. Margaret is an amazing math and science teacher. She completely helped me change the way I see math! They both are just outstanding people!
I feel really safe here…. I love my teachers.
