We offer small, multi-age enrichment programs, taught and led by a licensed teacher and homeschool veteran of 22 years.

 

Our Shine Cottage School is located in a rural Elizabeth/Franktown neighborhood complete with a forest and treehouse! Yet it is only 20 minutes from Parker and some areas of Castle Rock. The program will include group activities, nature, art, hands-on discovery learning, science experiments, literature and/or history based unit studies, etc. The program will be taught from a Biblical, Christian perspective in a nurturing environment that fosters kindness, peace and joy. We are passionate about making learning fun, and growing a love for learning in our students.   

 

Tuition is based on $30 per child for a 3 hour session. Your child may register for 1 or more sessions for the week. Sessions are offered from 9-12 and 12:30-3:30 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.  The 2020 fall semester goes from September 1st through December 10th, with Thanksgiving week off. The Spring 2021 semester goes from Jan 5 through May 13th.  

 

Class size will be a maximum of 8 children, and will be multi-age, though we will make every effort to group kids with similar ages while keeping siblings together. Most classes will be 1st-6th grade. A K-2nd grade class, and a 7th-12th class may be started if there is enough interest.

Our Shine Cottage School 4-7 year old enrichment program is located in a rural Elizabeth/Franktown neighborhood 20 minutes from Parker and 20-30 minutes from Castle Rock, complete with a forest and treehouse!  The program is taught by a licensed teacher and homeschool veteran of 22 years.  It will include group activities, nature, art, hands-on discovery learning, science experiments, and reading readiness activities, based off of children’s literature unit studies.  The program will be taught from a Biblical, Christian perspective in a nurturing environment that fosters kindness, peace and joy.  We are passionate about making learning fun, and growing a love for learning in our students.   

 

Tuition is $30 per child for each 3 hour session, 9:30-12:30AM offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Longer days are available in certain circumstances.  The 2020 fall semester goes from September 1st through December 10th, with Thanksgiving week off.  The Spring 2021 semester goes from Jan 5 through May 13th.  Class size will be a maximum of 8 children.
